Located in the subtropics, Taiwan is abundant with a variety of fruits all the year round. 台湾地处亚热带，终年盛产各种水果。 Fruits are a daily necessity because they are rich in vitamins which we cannot do without. 水果是每日的必需品，因为水果富有我们不可或缺的维生素。 And, because of their abundance, they are sold at a reasonable price. 而且，因为水果产量丰富，价格也很合理。

Of Taiwan's various fruits, watermelon is my favorite not only because it is sweet but because it is juicy. 在台湾各种不同的水果中，西瓜是我最爱吃的，不仅因为它很甜，而且也因为它多汁。 When the summer heat is scorching, having a slice of watermelon quenches my thirst right away. 炎炎酷暑之时，吃一片西瓜可以马上解渴。 Mangos, longans, and strawberries are also to my liking. 芒果、龙眼和草暮也是我喜欢吃的水果。 With all of these fruits around, how lucky I am to live in Taiwan! 台湾有这么多水果，我能住在这里何其幸运啊!
